Terminal Rally

Short Film~Drama~16 minutes

An elderly man caring for his wife, who is struggling with late stage Alzheimer’s disease, tries to save their marriage by getting her to remember him one last time.

I wanted to shed a light on Alzheimer’s and the difficulties that come with caring for someone with the condition. As part of my research for the project, I looked into the experiences of carers who give up their lives to look after their loved ones. These carers seldom receive any gratitude for their efforts due to the fact that their loved ones are unable to express such emotions, if any at all. I wanted to make this film as a testament to those carers that keep going despite this tragic commonplace, and show what it truly means to love someone unconditionally.
